a. Filling knowledge gap between current and necessary knowledge to complete customer engagement
b. Self training on new technology (ex: PowerBI, PowerApps, SalesForce, AWS)
Giving high level estimation on development for prioritization purpose:
a. Interpreting requirements from Business Analyst/Project Manager and understanding change required
b. Anticipating potential technical issues / risk / blocking points
Designing and implementing the solution:
a. Converting functional requirements into technical specification.
b. Identifying IT Development task and provide workload estimation
c. Developing prototypes which are reusable and extensible.
d. Implementing proper system design using standard programming framework (design pattern, caching, security, error logging, debugging, scalability and code comments).
e. Coordinating with other technical and non technical team(s)
Transitioning to operation:
a. Performing unit and integration testing.
b. Providing installation and maintenance routine guide for Infrastructure team.
c. Scheduling the release and coordinating with all IT parties involved in the release. This includes hand over to application support and Infrastructure & operation staff in charge.
Providing expert level support on application in Live environment:
a. Troubleshooting all issues escalated from help desk or infrastructure team related to application errors and application performance issues.
a. Creating release note of the recent changes delivered.
b. Writing technical documentation: solution architecture, process description, technical specification, database design, etc.
c. Developing knowledge base by documenting fixed issue resolution.
Escalating to his/her direct manager any new request that is not part of standard catalog of services. Communicating to his/her direct manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays
